Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how OneMistake ("the App") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the application.
1. Information We Collect
a) Analytics Data
The App collects anonymous analytics data to understand how users interact with the game and to improve gameplay and performance. This includes:
- A randomly generated anonymous user identifier (UUID) that does not directly identify the user.
- App interactions (such as game progress, levels reached, session duration, and in-game actions).
- Approximate location information (country or region level only).
- Technical diagnostics such as crash reports and performance data.
This data is collected using PostHog analytics. We do not collect: names, email addresses, phone numbers, physical addresses, or any personally identifiable contact information.
b) Advertising Data
The App displays third-party advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Ads are non-personalized. We do not use ads for tracking users across apps or websites. The App does not request permission for advertising tracking (IDFA). Google AdMob may collect limited device information (such as a device or advertising identifier) to display ads and prevent fraud. This information is handled according to Google's Privacy Policy.
2. How We Use Information
Collected data is used only for the following purposes:
- Analytics: to understand user behavior and improve the game.
- App functionality: to ensure stability, performance, and crash detection.
- Third-party advertising: to display non-personalized ads.
We do not use collected data for:
- Tracking users across apps or websites.
- Personalized advertising.
- Marketing communications.
- Selling or sharing data with data brokers.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your data. Data may be processed by trusted third-party service providers: PostHog (analytics) and Google AdMob (advertising). These providers process data in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable laws.
4. Data Retention
Analytics and diagnostic data may be retained for as long as necessary to improve the App and ensure its stability.
5. Children's Privacy
The App is not specifically directed to children under the age of 13. The App collects limited analytics and technical data (such as anonymous identifiers, app usage data, and diagnostics) from all users in order to improve functionality and performance. We do not knowingly collect personal contact information such as names, email addresses, or phone numbers from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that personal information has been collected from a child, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your data, including the right to request access or deletion of analytics data associated with your use of the App.
